There are many great reasons for buying and playing the Set game, by Set Enterprises. The Set game is easy to play, makes a great family game because kids age 6 and up can play as well as adults, it is a classic game and it encourages cognitive development especially spatial reasoning as players match color, shape, number or shading. The dimensions of the Set game box are 6.6 x 4.2 x 1 inches and it weighs approximately 0.3 ounces and contains 81 cards.
The Set Game is recommended for ages 6 and up by most sites although the manufacturer recommends it for age 10 and up. Points can be won for correctly identifying a set of 3 cards and points will be lost if you call out set and then are not able to correctly identify a set. Groups of all ages can play together and educational institutions are even using it in the classroom.
Anyone who has played Set will tell you that it is highly addictive, is easy to learn because there are no turns and just about anyone will catch on quickly to how to make a set. The set game can be played alone or with others. It will give anyone a real mental workout as everyone strives to be the first to spot a pattern that can be called a set. It is an educational game that teaches relationships and common elements while still being fun to play.

One negative aspect of the game is that first time players will easily become frustrated if they are playing alongside game veterans who will be calling out “set” quickly while the beginner is still trying to find a set. The Set game requires the players to think quickly which can cause frustration for some players.

Is educational and fun for all ages to play alongside each other and would be something that can easily be taken with the family on car rides or on vacation.
